My family decides to give me a break and make lunch for me – Pasta cutlets 🙂 Was pleasantly surprised.. it tasted sooo good that I felt like sharing the recipe!
Ingredients
Ingredient | Quantity |
Farfalle pasta | 1/4 box |
Frozen peas | 2 cups |
Green peppers | 1 |
Onions | 2 |
Garlic powder | 1 tsp |
Salt | As per taste |
Corn flour | 1/4 cup |
Cream cheese | 1/4 stick |
Tomato sauce | 4 tsp |
Oil | 2 cups for deep frying |
Pasta Cutlets
- Boil the Farfalle pasta with frozen peas
- Puree the mixture
- Saute diced green peppers, diced onions with garlic powder, cumin powder and salt
- Puree this mixture from Step 3
- Add the two pasta puree and sauteed veggies puree from Step 2 and Step 4
- Make it into balls
- Roll it in corn flour
- Deep fry the balls
Chutney / Dipping sauce to go with it
- Mix the cream cheese and tomato sauce
- Add a few spoons of pasta puree from the cutlets preparation process above
- Add a pinch of salt and blend it well
Serve with Soup or as a snack 🙂 Tasted Yummy 🙂
Croutons
- Deep fry the boiled pasta farfalle flakes
- Season with lemon pepper & salt
- Top on it soup and serve
