Perils of indifference speech

Got to listen to the Perils of indifference speech by Elie Wiesel, and felt as if it was spoken in today’s context… still so relevant & making perfect sense – even today!

Some verses from Elie Wisel’s speech

While we have lot of challenges we are going through in our day to day lives, still it is possible not to be indifferent. Start by following the news on this topic & have a point of view. Taking sides is a good start.

It feels great to see school children come and ask teachers to spare a few minutes to pray & meditate for the children in Ukraine, for students to have discussions and conversations with teachers and staff about their perspectives on what is happening and why. Great to see the next-generation being involved in worldly affairs and starting to have a point of view.
