An area of strong & cold winds that encircle the North pole & Arctic, will descend into the US this upcoming week, bringing with it brutally cold temperatures.

Understand the symptoms of a frostbite
- Redness or pain in any skin area may be the first sign
- Look for white or grayish skin area
- Waxy skin
- Skin that is unusually firm
- Numbness in any part of your body – especially your hands and feet
- Shivering, exhaustion, confusion, slurred speech, drowsiness, slurred speech, fumbling hands
- Low or very low energy
If you feel any of the above symptoms consistently, and are concerned, reach out to your physician or healthcare practitioner. If symptoms are worsening, visit your local urgent care.
