Vegetarians and anyone on a eggless diet look for egg substitutes for baking purposes.
I have personally tried the baking soda + vinegar and mashed banana as substitutes. While the final version of the baked goods is not exactly the same texture (as that of the one made with eggs), it does turn out a bit denser, yet close.

Instead of the chickpea + water, drain and use the liquid from the canned chickpeas, it works perfect!
