Valentine’s day special 🙂 Raspberry filled chocolate hearts!

Items needed
- Heart shaped silicone molds
- Chocolate wafers / candy melts
- Raspberries 1 cup
- Sugar 1/4 cup
- Lemon – 1
- Salt – pinch
Step 1: Raspberry filling
Wash and boil raspberries with sugar, bit of lemon juice and a pinch of salt. Slowly the raspberries will melt and a thick concoction is formed. Wait till it thickens. Then, let it cool. Can be used for many recipes.
Step 2 : Chocolate
You can make it from chocolate bars, almond bars, baker’s chocolate, chocolate chips. Quick and easy one would be to use chocolate candy melts. Just place the box in the microwave, melted chocolate is ready to use.
Step 3 : Pour in molds
Pour the chocolate from step #2 into the molds just to coat the bottom layer. Remove excess. Let it dry for 2-3 minutes. Add the raspberry filling from step #1 into it. Pour the chocolate to fill the heart mold.
Trim the edges (the picture above is before trimming the edges :)). Store in a box or serve fresh.
I try to keep a minimal chocolate layer and maximize the filling to maximize the surprise element!
