Recently got to watch this Malayalam movie about a girl from a village in Kerala, who is fondly called as “chatterbox” by her family and friends. Her ability to provide running commentary to Tom & Jerry (loved this part) since her childhood, slowly leads her to bigger dreams – to become a football commentator. The difficulties of a woman when she steps out to choose a career or profession for herself, based on her skills and her struggles were portrayed beautifully. The lead actress Kalyani was amazing! Loved listening to her football commentary!

A very nice take on a young girl following her dream to be a Chef, and her struggles to pursue and accomplish her dream! While I do not believe that one needs to taste the food to make it tastier and perfect, one who wants to be a Chef may need to hold the ability to taste all types of food! Somehow grandparents seem more supportive (than parents) to support her dream! Nice leisurely watch – especially for those who love watching food shows!
Learning to use all senses while cooking was nicely portrayed!
