Snack recipes – #2 Fruit custard

Fruit custard – one of my friend’s recipe!


Whole milk – 1500 ml

Custard powder or Corn starch – 7.5 tbsp

Sugar – 8 tbsp

Vanilla essence – 2 tsp

Fruit & Nut assortment

2 apples, 3 oranges, 50 green grapes, 2 bananas

Dried cranberries – 1/8 cup

Walnuts – 1/4 cup

Prep work

Cut the fruits into smaller bite size pieces

Chop the walnuts and dried cranberries


In 500 ml of cold milk, mix the corn starch and keep it aside

Bring the rest of the milk to boil and add the sugar and mix it.

Add the milk and custard powder or corn starch mixture and to the boiling milk and mix it lightly

The mixture will start thickening in 2-3 minutes

Switch off the stove and let it cool for an hour.

Add the fruit & nut assortment to the mixture, lightly mix it

Refrigerate for 2 hours

Serve cold.
