We have the habit of starting a journey and continuing just because we started it. Sometimes, it is essential to stop and think/rethink.
Why are we doing what we set out to do?
Have the goals changed?
Have I changed?
Have my circumstances changed?
Am I able to understand & accept my current circumstances and accordingly adjust my goals?
Am I able to think and process the need for me to continue doing, and adding more and more activities in my daily routine?
Periodically, taking some time off and evaluating (or re-evaluating) these for ourselves helps us understand and accept our current circumstances and plan our current set of priorities and changes that we need to make, in a much better manner.

Knowing when to stop, think and proceed is an essential skill in life, both for our personal lives and work/education front.
When we gain clarity and rationale for our actions, and how it is relevant in our today’s circumstances, and how it might impact our future aspirations, every single change holds a lot of value and we need to learn this essential skill in life, at the earliest.
Every choice and decision of ours, to continue current course or trigger a change, has both short term and long term implications. Not wanting to rock the boat in the current scenario is not good enough a reason to avoid reflecting on your situation.
For those who find it easy, the reset happens very frequently. You will see such people having time to pursue their interests and have extra time in their hands.
For those who find it hard, you would see them juggle with their priorities (as they have not re-prioritized), as they would have just been adding new activities to their list, without understanding and accepting their physical limitations to fulfill the same.
If you see yourself as any of the above, talk to your friends or family, someone who is close to you, and help bounce your thoughts on what and how you would need to make changes in your life, to give you more time to pursue interests that are more relevant to you, at this juncture.
Acceptance of where we are in life is key, to be able to gain the courage to stop, think and reflect before planning and proceeding on the way forward.
For those who are contemplating, wish you good luck!
