Rumi’s poetry

Be they verses or poetry, Rumi has a way to capture our innermost emotions that remain unspoken by many.

One must be able to feel deeply, think, be able to convert their emotions into expressions and choose the words that makes us wonder at the beauty of what is being said, the way it is being said and the truth behind it!

One such poem that remains fresh in my mind…

Study me as much as you like
You will NOT know me
For I differ in a hundred ways
From what
You seem to be
Put yourself behind my eyes
And see me
As I see myself
For I have chosen
To dwell in a place
You cannot see!

One of his quotes acts as a powerful reminder!

When setting out on a journey, do not seek advice from those who have never left home!
